I am so sorry that you had to endure this, my friend! Some people will show just how human they are. Expect
it, but also learn how to "write it off" as something you don't want or need to concern yourself with. Please don't allow falacy to
"get your blood pressure up!" Lies wither like weeds but the truth will stand firmly like a deeply rooted tree.
Make sure that you are an honest person because what is released from your mouth into the world comes back around to either build you up or break you down. That's the universal law of "sowing and reaping!" When you plant seeds of goodness, your fruit will be edible. When bad seeds are planted, your fruit will be poisonous!
The "little white lies" give way to more lies. Then lying becomes habitual [a pattern practiced often]. Habitual lying grows to become pathological [an untamed or raging disease]. People start out lying about their age, physical and emotional characteristics, things they like, and things they dislike. Never training themselves to simply be honest. The lies take on a life of their own and the mind begins to accept these lies as truth. The worst part is, they will then incorporate other people into their web of lies. Lying about who they slept or lying about the amout of people they've slept with. Liars can't be honest so they won't have healthy friendships or relationships until they come to grips with the truth!
In an era where people lie to themselves and others about their sexual preferences, it's logical that they will lie about anything pertaining to the subject. Liars have little remorse and anyone in their path will become a victim of their verbal terrorism! Rejection goes against a liar's belief that he can have anyone he desires. When rejected, a liar uses his best defense mechanism: LYING! I can't say that it is a Black male issue as much as it is a very human issue. People with little or no discipline of all ethnicities and genders lie habitually and or pathologically! Individually and collectively we must reject falacy and embrace truth!
From my lips to your soul...
